While there are various dog training systems available on the market today, it is not easy to find you one that has the additional feature that you actually need. One of the major issues with dogs is excessive barking. If you have a very aggressive dog in your home, he or she tends to bark to nearly everyone passing by in front of your home. Teaching a dog not to bark too much is one difficult task indeed. However, Garmin Pro 70 is ready to help you with its BarkLimiter feature!

Garmin Pro 70 Review - Trainer with BarkLimiter Technology

Garmin Pro 70 features a built-in BarkLimiter technology that is activated by the dog device. The feature allows the device to automatically detect the barking of your dog and adjust the correction to the appropriate, optimum level needed in order to stop the unwanted barking. This is a very convenient feature, especially for aggressive dogs, ensuring that the dog is trained to behave well when you are away. In addition, both the handheld transmitter and the dog device collar are constructed to be able to withstand all the blows and bumps from training and hunting. They are waterproof, so there is no need to worry about getting a little bit wet under a bad weather. The dog device is rated to 1 ATM or equal to 10 meters under water, while the handheld device is rated to IPX7.

Garmin Pro 70 has a decent range of up to 1 mile, using 27 MHz radio frequency. The dog device is equipped with LED beacon lights to allow you to see your dog’s location up to 100 yards away, even under a low-light condition. Both the dog device and the handheld device operate with each own rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries. Both have excellent battery life. The handheld can last up to 80 hours with only a single charge, while the dog device has a maximum battery life of 60 hours. Garmin Pro 70 comes with 6 stimulation levels. However, all of these stimulations are in the continuous mode. There are no momentary stimuli, but this is not a big deal. Also, Garmin Pro 70 is expandable for up to 6 dogs. Hence, you can train multiple dogs at once!
